Ok, I think its gotta be the speedometer. I checked the wires coming out of the switch going to the speed sensor, and the wire going to the fuel sender. Everything looked ok as far as I could tell. It has to be something that all these problems have in common. The only thing I can think of is the speedo. I took the speedo completely apart, as far as it would go, and on the back of the circuit board you can see a little water damage. Also, the white tray thing that it sits in also has water stains on it. I am baffeled on this, and I can't afford a new one. There has to be a used one out there somewhere. Can anybody help? Thanks for the guidance.
