That rear light bar is a beautiful piece. I actually bought one for 43 bucks on ebay, but the picture didn't reveal that the lenses were taped on! The guy I was buying it from was honest enough to tell me about it before he shipped it & gave my money back. It's still on my list but as long as I'm working 2 or 3 days a week, It'll have to STAY on my list.

It took me about an hour to install mine - no problems whatsoever. Very minor creativity involved with wiring/routing, but raising up the rear fender while doing it - I know for a fact - saved a lot of time and headache. Here's what mine looks like:

I switched the red lenses out for the smoke lenses which are actually listed under the Harley section of the Kuryakyn website. Of course had to then switch the clear bulbs for amber (1157A).

I have to keep mine red as I'm running the run-turn-brake light controller... law says they've gotta be red. This turn signal kit looks SOOOOO much better than the stock lollipops, IMHO.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe in Ohio, the turn signals need to be amber which is why I made the change. If this is true, how does law enforcement regulate this when traveling across state lines where the law is different?

Turn signals on rear can be either red or amber. Running lights on rear have to be red.

I can't remember what the brand is but I got a set of run-turn-stop lights for my scoot and the lens is the stock amber but when I turn or stop they flash red, run red as well. The LED lights were a sort of donut shaped thing that glued to the lens with silicon. The rig kept the stock bulb so I didn't have to put in an adpater for the LED.

My old lollipops lights use to hit my lids when opening/closing. No more.
At least when riding the brake light is red.
