21amp stator. big problem is the rectifier input is rated at 18amp.

quite a few have up-graded to the "05" and newer stator and rec/reg. Yamaha went with a 29amp stator and a rectifier with 35amp input. Output of either regulator is same.

Electrosports is working on a new stator and will have a matching rec/reg to go wth it, not sure how far down the road they are in production with it at this time.

If you need to test your charge system, under tech articles is the correct method to check it. The Service manual procedure is not worth the paper it is written on.
