I need help. 2 Years, 3 Months ago  
I own a 2006 Road Warrior in original conditions. After 6 months of not ridding I decided to get back on board, I checked the basics and then started her up with no problem. However when I put her into 1st gear she shuts off and I can’t figure out why.

I need help troubleshooting, is there anyone out there that could give ne a hand.

Check and make sure your kick stand is up.

If it is then check the kick stand switch it maybe bad.

Thanks for the welcome, my kick stand was up. do you know an easy way to check the kick stand switch?

Hey Rick,

There is a clutch switch that you should probably check too.
