Before I go out and get one,what other parts will I need to complete the job. Will the new horn replace the front horn or the rear horn, and will I leave one of the old horns hooked up along with the new one? Expert Boarder Posts: 402 Re:Air Horn 2 Years, 3 Months ago   I used one of these piggyback spade connectors to connect the positive terminal of the front horn to the relay to trip the relay (NOT to power the horn, the horn receives power through the relay directly from the battery). I ordered the wiring kit with it and it sure made the install much easier. On my 07 R*, I made a simple bracket and mounted it off the original location of the front horn and kept the rear horn connected.
