I ended up buying that POS worthless system too!

The unit had a mind of it's own and would skip songs, shut off, had no power, etc,ended up filing the "amp" in the trash and keeping the speakers, which seem to be O-K. I bought a small amp from E-Bay for 18 bucks shipped and mounted it under the seat. Ran the RCA to mini cord under the tank to my mp-3 player on my left handlebar. Now it is a pretty bitchin' sounding system and trouble free. Also got the 8 gig. mp3 player for 28 bucks shipped, which was a smokin'deal.

Will try to post pics of the gear and install a little later.
