I'm with you, I like to get lost too. Then I use my GPS to find my way home. Otherwise I'd still be wandering around somewhere in the backroads of Kentucky...

I had been using the Magellan RoadMate for about a year. Worked great. I recently upgraded to a Garmin Zumo, so My Roadmate with accessories, mount, etc. are up for sale. PM me if interested.

Just a note to EVERYONE who uses a GPS on your bike, make sure you tether it just in case you hit the big bump and it jostles loose.

Darn You mean you don't think you would want to watch it trying to catch up to you bouncing down the highway? Good tip though!

Ok, so got a good deal on this: http://www.tomtom.com/products/product.php?ID=76&Lid=4&Category=0 tom tom go300 mapquest. It does not come with a "car charger"
I see that it takes 5 volts, DC. I find in my drawer a Nokia phone car charger, it says it is 5.7 volts, DC. Spose it's close enough? What could a feller do to knock it down .7 volts??? thanks!

I have the TomTom One 3rd Edition and I found that my charger from my old Razr worked just fine with it so went into a gas station and bought a cheap charger and now that I broke the phone and hae a different one I got a charger for the bike and one to keep in the truck.
