I recently upgraded to a Garmin Zumo, so My Roadmate with accessories, mount, etc. are up for sale. Yes, I know it's plastic and I much would have preferred the chrome one for $40, but I'm strapped for cash. Besides, I like the fact that it comes off easily when I want it to AND it fits my 1.25" bars. I'll still attach a safety cable to the unit just in case the thing is a POS and breaks, but for the price... While heading down to the M&G last year, I had my nephews' dads GPS stuck onto my tank and I hit it with my hand. 70MPH on the highway and boy did that thing slide a ways before coming to a stop! It had road rash, but still worked. We put it away and used paper maps the rest of the way! It does not come with a "car charger" I see that it takes 5 volts, DC. I find in my drawer a Nokia phone car charger, it says it is 5.7 volts, DC. Spose it's close enough?
