Thanks Scottw and everyone.

I ended up returning the AutoZone Duralast. Turns out it was just 270 CCA's. I had to do a lot of searching online to find this out. I called 3 AutoZones and none of them knew the CCA's of the Duralast (one claimed it was 400!). Scott's post confirms the 270 CCAs. 270 is way too low for my setup with HC pistons and stock wires (new wires are on my list along with a new starter if needed).

I drove down the street and bought the Permaseal AGM heavy duty with 310 CCA's from Batteries Plus. My R* started after about 4 or 5 hard cranks. The Duralast was long flat by the 3rd crank brand new and off the tender.

Wires and/or a starter are on the winter list.
