Hi guys,
I'm sorry I haven't been on recently, been busy with multiple other projects.
Unfortunately I still don't the ESG752 stators in stock. We had some other parts take priority at the factory, and the Road* stators are not finished yet.
You will all definitely be the first to know when I have these in stock.
At the moment, I can't really give you a good date as to when I will have these, although I would tentatively think late Febuary or early March? Hopefully sooner, but I can't guarantee anything.

As for your earlier question about the current wiring gauge being able to handle the upgraded, part, we will be selling this as a stator/regulator set. This will replace the main current carrying wires from the stator->regulator, and will handle it just fine. The rest of the bikes wiring harness will work fine as is.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Evan,

I appreciate your prompt responses.... glad to hear/know it'll be a combo package. Will be looking forward to a release date (will monitor this forum thread and your web site) for the announcement. I just hope the Final Price Point isn't beyond the point where the "Mrs." does some major belly aching (cause if the Mrs. ain't happy.... NoBody's Happy!) Periodic updates here would be a good send.
With Respect,

Have you come up with exact numbers as far as what the amp output is??
I'm not looking for "Oh it is 20% more then stock" or something like that. I would like to know what the expected true output rating is?
28amp,30amp,35amp,40amp?????????????

Good Question! ditto for me too. My Star Halogen Driving lights are sucking enough amps whereas my battery isn't charging with them on. If I turn'em off... I can carry it past the 13+ amp mark... So a specific amp rating would be desired, welcomed and requested.

I'm sorry I still don't have an OEM flywheel to get exact numbers yet.
However, my previous testing with a similar flywheel will not be too far off from what you will see with this part.
I measured a maximum of 286W @ 5500RPM, which means a maximum of 22A @ 13VDC.

The stock stator with the same flywheel produced a maximum of 230W @ 5500RPM, which means a maximum of 17A @ 13VDC.

I'm sorry I will have exact numbers for you when I can get a flyhweel, but these tests were done with a similar three phase rotor, and the output numbers should not vary by more than 10-15% with the correct rotor.

Keep in mind I can guarantee you that Yamaha over-rated the output of their stock charging system!

Nah...that's the one that brings the 1600s (and '04s) up to about the same level as the '05 on up. Still waiting on the UberStator...

Still waiting here on the Uber system too. I did the 05 upgrade and hope the new offering takes it to the next level. I know whoever cracks this nut will get a ton of sales!

What I don't understand is if a 34amp system can be produced for a harley why can't someone make that same system for a R*. There isn't much difference in the engines. Unless it has to do with the size of the flywheels?? 17amps up to 22amps is not that great!
