Yes, you can swap the coils. Just be sure you bolt the pos/neg cables on the right terminals and you're set to troubleshoot.

Papa Bear: with a new battery installed, i get all lights and electronics functioning when I push the starter button, but only a click. No starter rotation at all. Prognosis please? Papa Bear
