Did you check to see if you have proper battery voltage going to the coil? If you have a corroded or bad power wire going to your coil causing low voltage at the coil it would have an effect on the coil output. If all the componets metered out OK Your running problem is either something weird like this or it's mechanical not electrical. Maybe even do a compression test just to eliminate or narrow the problem down to mechanical or electrical.
