Billd - I have the ones you are looking at and they were the first thing I bought for my bike. easy to insatall.

Here in So Cal there seems to be a new game of "don't bother with the red light at a right or left turn" and it gets really dangerous out here.

The modulating does seem to bother some people but who cares.
as long as they see me !

On a related note - does anyone know how to wire passing lights to the high beams and not have them flashing ?

unless I am mistaken, there is a seperate wire that allows your passing lights to stay on all the time, no matter if you are running the high or low beam on your headlight.

My Roadie Silverado has the passing lamps installed from the factory and they stay on all the time, unless I throw the switch and shut them off.

My headlight modulator only works on the high beam and the passing lights stay on all the time ( they don't blink ).

Maybe somebody else has the color code for the wire you need, my manual is in the garage, so I'll have to look for it tomorrow. I'll post up with the answer ASAP.

HOWZAT?

I have the Back Off XP brake modulator set to flash 4 times one long flash about 3 seconds and the patern repeats. It seems to me that cagers give me more space behind when i flash it.

Want to get a headlight modulator so following this post.

I have used the Kisan headlight and tailight modulators for about 6 months and they are great. Plug and play with no wire cutting. It is amazing to watch how many cagers start to pull out then stop and watch me go by. I also use the tailight modulator to alert folks driving too close or coming up to me at a stop light. Best safety item to add to your bike.

Billd; I have this one as well. . .it's great. . .They really stand behind their unit. I installed my first one in the bucket. (I don't recommend that) and it came loose in there, snuggled too close to the reflector and melted. . .So I called, and they had me return it. If they could fix it they would. . . .but they sent me a new one. THIS time I have the unit outside my bucket and wiretied to the cables. I don't like the "BLUE" cup it sits in and someday I'll cover it with black electrical tape. It works great and I've been told that my headlight has a short in it. . .I respond by asking if they saw me coming and they said they did. . .I told them. . .no short it's working correctly. The breaklight flasher. . .don't really care for. When the bike is in the garage and I press the break, it works great but when I'm riding, it's pretty sporatic but it does get attention. The headlight modulater is great, and as far as installation, 10 mins max. I still assume they don't see me though just to keep me on my toes.

I have been checking up on the Kisan modulator and I am going to order one today. A little pricey but nothing is too expensive if it helps save your life. I am one that thinks you cant have too many lights blareing/flashing etc. to aleart those around you that you are THERE.
