kuryakyn lightbar w/led turn signals 4 Years, 11 Months ago

I just put the kuryakyn lightbar with the led turn signals on my bike. Everything works great ( well the blinkers blink a little fast but that is not a major issue). The problem I am having is that when I start to accellerate/or even at cruising speed the led running lights flicker on and off. I didn't notice it but my wife mentioned to me yesterday when we got back from our ride. So I started the bike up and everything was fine until I started moving the accellerator(I can't spell) it started to flicker. Anyone else here install this lightbar? Any problems like that? Possible causes? I soldered all connections so I know that it can't be a loose connection(Well I assume that it's not). Anyways, as always, any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

You might need an equalizer to slow down the binking. The flicker might be from the power wire you used. All just guesses cuz I don't know squat about this stuff.
I do know about spelling stuff wrong. " moving the accellerator(I can't spell) ". Just use " twist the grip ".

Thanks musky, I was just looking at load equalizers for the blinkers. But I am deciding whether to hold on that until I get the kuyakyn rear set up with the bullet lights. I used all the stock wiring and soldered the connections, I just didn't want to tear everything down to trace it. Being lazy. I think I will wait until the fuel pump relocation kit comes then I will have to take the tank off for that. But as always, thank you once again for your input. It is always good to hear even a guess because if that guess matches what you were guessing it always makes you feel better about the path you were on.

They are grounded using the groud wire from the wiring harness. And as for Doc, I didn't cold solder them. I used a hot soldering iron if that is what you were asking.

I would try a different power wire. At least it would eliminate that as the problem. Double check that you have everything hooked up right. Sometimes you need to go through everything it isn't to get to what it is.

Yea .... what Curt said ..... but better.
LEDs don't flicker unless they are supposed to so you're getting a poor connection somewhere.
