#312896 EPRoadie (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1996 Headlight bulb '01 R* 2 Years, 8 Months ago   My low beam went out couple days ago, pulled the bulb to inspect and yeah it had little bits of coil bouncing around. No big deal , my high beam was working so I'll wait till I get around to buying a new bulb. Well the high beam went out now as I was riding some today . Is the bulb a dealer item or is there an aftermarket at Autozone, O'Reillys, etc. Also even though both beams are out, the high beam indicator still lights up when the switch is on high beam, is this normal   Logged     The administrator has disabled public write access. #312905 old dog (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 2159 Re:Headlight bulb '01 R* 2 Years, 8 Months ago   I took Cliffords advise. http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H4.html. I bought the extreme intense white. Looks good enough for me as I really don't do any nite time driving these days.
