Fuse Block Install 2 Years, 6 Months ago
Finally had some time to install my Rivco Fuse Block today. Did a great job cleaning the mess of wires on the battery. Removed all inline fuses on the accessory leads as they are fused once they are ran into the fuse block. Spent a good amount of time soldering and crimping but it was all worth it in the end. Big thanks to Tim (deadlion) for sharing this mod with me and guiding me along the way.

Now for the ooops. After all wire ran and bike put back together, I can't fit my side cover back on without a little bit of force. Feels pretty tight behind it and don't want all my work to be FUBAR. So Tim, if you read this PM me and share more of your genius with me.

Thanks Curt. I really like how all the fuses are now in one location. Tomorrow I'll revisit the side cover issue.

Good looking install. You might try small plastic spacers behind the side cover and it should still tighten down. Just a thought.

Buddy of mine (electrician) put a (homemade) fuse block where the tool kit usually goes. Looks good and clean.

Re:Fuse Block Install 1 Year, 8 Months ago
Being a newbie to my bike, I'm still trying to figure out how to take the side cover(s) off. I removed the allen screws from each side but they seem to be attached in the middle in front of the gas tank. I don't know how far I can pry the side panel out to allow my hand in to get to the nut/bolt assembly.

Any help?!!

One of the covers will pull off of the other in the middle. I beleive it is the right side cover that pulls off and the other has a 8mm bolt that holds it together in the middle.

Actually left side pulls off. Right side has a small bolt attached to the frame below the seat you have to take off to get both sides off. Left side will pull off just put a little pressure on it.
