Lithoum Ion Batteries have been pulled from the Cessna Citation CJ4 because of "reliability Issues" (read Burned the ass off a 13 million dollar aircraft) and the Chevy Volt is having issues with them as well.

If you have that much money in your machine, I would think that proven safe and reliable technology would prevail over absolute output.

I'd hate to see someone's bike burn down. Have you looked into Optima? I have not heard of anyone using the powersport batteries, except the Marine deep cycle type, which are popular with bass tourney fisherman.

Good luck, and keep that beast under control!

I was going to use them but got a good deal on a Yuasa 310 cca. A friend of mine put one on his GoldWing and is happy with it. When I need another one I'm going to put one on mine.

Glad to see you on here.

Martin

BubbaKahuna Will sell you the Ballistic, 410cca for $165 to your door. The 16 cell will not fit our battery box.
Ballistic and Shoria claim 2 to 4 times the life of a lead acid.On the other side, they haven't been around long enough to prove this.If they do last twice as long that cuts the cost to 85 bucks for a battery that has 410cca.
