Front signal suggestions? 1 Year, 1 Month ago
I am not a fan of the stock front signals that extend way to far.

Does anybody have suggestions for modifying the stock closer? or some other light that bolts up easy?

I've seen the lightbars but not sure on that style yet. I really wanna keep 1 headlight with smaller signals or modified stock ones.

Thanks
James

Just for the hell of it, I will say that DOT requires that the front signals be 16" a part on center and at least 4" from the headlight. So that kool headlight is not DOT approved.
But I guessing you pipes are not either....so have fun

Good info Vic.
That DOT rule WOULD come up in a lawsuit as a defense when someone T bones someone with that light at an intersection.

My brother runs that front headlight. I can see his turns from a long ways in front of him, headlight on or not. He does not have any other turns in the front.

Dragoon runs it too. I spent a weekend riding with him and always saw the turns inside the headlight.

I doubt its DOT approved. Can't see how it could be. But it does work really well, both daytime and nighttime.

My brother bought it as an assembled headlight lens. I really don't know if the LEDs can be retrofitted to the stock headlight.

What about the lower triple tree cover with the lights built into it. Anybody know where a guy could find one of those?
