if you want a stock one, i replaced mine a while back and have the stock one sitting it in the garage. PM me your address and its yours - i'll send it right off.

i replaced mine with a wolo badboy:

i removed the old horn, put the relay where the hold horn was and mounted it where the AIS used to be.

Don, that's a more than gracious offer. I appreciate it, but I'm going to muddle through the trouble-shooting process with this one and replace it with something decent from over here in LOS if necessary. Then going to look at the Wolo and the Stebel horns.

Does sound like water filled it up, now is the time to get a WOLO Bad Boy, love mine.

Is there any particular model number for the R*? I need the loudest and easist plug & play available. LOL

Sorry, ain't no plug and play on air horns, they pull too much current and will have to use a relay, and preferably 14ga wire for battery and ground, don't need any heavier ga than 14ga. (can use 16ga as a standby, but nothing thinner)

Look on EBAY. A China company has a WOLO and Stebel knockoff horn for $27.00 including shipping. I have put three on bikes in the last two weeks. All I had to buy that wasn't with the kit was three feet of 14 gauge wire and an inline fuse from Carquest. I did solder the end spade connectors on and the inline fuse.

I used the same harness as greenpus. I mounted the relay under the left side cover.I Like the heavy plastic tube (protective sheath),used the pull ties to fasten to the underside of the frame. I mounted the the horn under the rectifier useing a"P" ring from Kury. You can see the horn in my sig pic. It'up high enough the fender protects it,& it's facing forward. If you send me a PM with an email address I can send you pictures if you like.

Is this easy enough that a person with extremely limited mechanical/wiring skills could pull it off? My horn hasn't worked for a year or more....

Yes it's very easy, the harness works with wolo or stebil.Good instructions come with it.
