I bought a new diamond cut headlight with a blue tinted bulb awile ago. Shortly after I saw condensation on the inside lens & the light coming out was horrible.
So I pulled the headlight .....
Pic) hard to see but condensation on inside lens
2)The rubber boot had melted somewhat  & you can see the corrosion from the moisture
3) Again hard to tell but the aftermarket bulb leaves a 1/8" open gap around the bulb flange  ....moisture! 
4) The stock headlight bulb & headlight case mounts nice & flush. As it should.
Moral of the story BUYER BEWARE. Blue tint bulb sucked. Stupid me
Note: Blue tint bulb was also a 55/80W Hence the melted boot.

PIAA Super White puts out a lot more light than standard bulbs, but does not use any more wattage. They are pricey, and don't last as long, but when your eyes start getting old, it's harder to see at night, and you'll pay the price to see down the road.

Thanks for the tip. The stock bulb works great with diamond cut for now but I'm going true H.I.D kit next. Best move I made on my truck too.

might want to take a look at the phase 7 led headlights, tons of light less wattage....just put mine in and i am never looking back

Those are bad a$$!  but too rich for my blood. H.I.D Kit $60- easy hook up. done it on all my vehicles.

Bad stuff. Sorry to hear about the mess, but thanks for sharing!
The original owner of my R* had a 100/110 W bulb in my headlight. I couldn't understand why my fuse kept melting and almost completely damaged my fuse block.

Fleabay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/310345308806, guess i get what i pay for
Look to make sure the bulb does not have a excess gap around where it mounts to the headlight itself (moisture can get in) & the bulb is not a 55w/80w. The stock bulb works good with the diamond cut. Just use the aftermarket rubber boot.
