I think that you have to add a load equalizer. When I installed the led turn signals on my bike it required the equalizer. Something to do with the lower current draw of the led's.

I have heard that if you go from standard bulbs to LED'S you have to get some sort of a voltage equalizer to put in line before the new LED bulb's or you can get feed back into the electric system and damage the charging system?
You might be getting feed back? That might be why you blew the head light and are blowing fuse's?
I don't have LED'S on my bike but have done some research on the subject? But can't say really one way or the other if this is true???

Yep. Our bikes take the load of atleat two bulbs to activate the flasher. If you remove one or both bulbs you will have to install a load equalizer to add the load back in the circuit. They get really hot too.

Some have said the self cancelling turn signal stops working when they installed a load equalizer. Mine works fine.

Don't really know much about the electrical stuff. Whats a load equalizer and where could a guy find one. And how is it installed.
I think I really did name the thread appropriately.

My '07 Roadie has the self cancelling turn signals...they turn off after a couple hundred feet or fifteen seconds...whichever is shorter.

I have seen the load equalizers at auto parts store near the bulbs,it is a inline resistor that simulates the load of the bulb that you removed, leds dont draw enough amps to trigger the flasher for the turn signals, you will need 2 of them
