Battery Voltage: 13.04 Red/Green odometer wire voltage: 13.02 Black odometer wire voltage: 13.02 Black odometer wire resistance: 0.00 Now I wish I knew how to check the circuit board and the odometer itself. But I am not dissuaded. I will see if there is something online that discusses how to use a voltage meter on circuit boards. I wish I had more info on the internals. I know everything goes into the housing and goes onto a printed circuit board, but have not opened one. I don't know if there is a contact-fit interface between the meters and the board, a ribbon, or what have you. I'd love to find a "junk" one to cipher on, but you have narrowed it to the meter, as far as I can see. Hadn't ridden the R* for three days due to rainy season and some quick trips on the scooter. Today (Tuesday night), cranked up the bike for the first time since Friday, heard the ticking of the fuel pump, which I hadn't heard since this odometer adventure began. Hit the starter, got a little bit of a cough and sputter, but it started immediately afterward. Then all of a sudden I get a double needle sweep from both the odometer and the speedometer. Went to the ATM. Restarted the bike afterwards. Everything still working and rode to go eat with friends and play some pool. Restarted the bike after about 3 hours. Everything still working all the way home. Amazing. Well there is nothing in my tank that I am hiiding from the police. So I got that little extra gas. The gas gauge was always so slow after a fill up that I was sown a 1/4 take before it registered. I never knew if it was right or not to begin with so, I used the trip meter even when the gauge worked.   Logged     If the tanks not empty, I’m not lost…   The administrator has disabled public write access.
