Stumbling issue on freeway. 10 Months, 1 Week ago
Have a 2008 RS 1700 Silverado S. When running down freeway at 75 mph at a constant speed. It will start to stumble, and as soon as I change throttle it will perk right up and run great for awhile. Would this be TPS sensor issue or O2 sensor issue? Problem only started after running seafoam in gas. Have no codes showing up, no check engine light.

Same tank of gas or have you gone through multiple and it still does it?

Check and make sure your oxygen sensors are connected. Mine was acting like that and I found one electrical connector disconnected.

Check and both are connected fully and no bent pins.

Could be a bad O2 sensor. Not sure about the TPS on the R*. Hopefully someone knows more about it than I do.

Sounds kinda like the throttle position sensor could have a dead spot, but that is not definitive, just a W.A.G.

Should have. Computer needs to know what you're asking for. Rotary displacement of the throttle plate is the best place to read the request.
