Erractic Signal Flash??? 7 Months ago
Need a little help trouble shooting a recent issue with my turn signals. Lately when I activate the turn signal it flashes correctly about once every half second or so then after a few flashes it does a double beat and then normal and again a double flash. Not a big issue just annoying. I have the Kuryakan RTB module and Radiantz red LED arrays in my rear turn signals with a load equalizer. Nice kit easy to install, but I suspect that the load equalizer or module may be going bad, it is about 18 months old. Any ideas on a trouble shooting sequence would be appreciated. Electrical is not my strong suit.

I think you are probably right .... sounds like the module may be bad.

You could also have a short somewhere in that circuit so check out the wiring, especially the wires that you added and the connections.

could be the 2 choices you already pointed out. Or one of the connections is loose/shorting.
bad news is you have to check all connections, maybe the front bulb filament broken if you still have regular front lights.

I agree ... it could be as simple as a broken but still connected filament in one of the bulbs.

Not too long ago, I had a rear signal that was acting up, and all it was was a little corrosion on the socket tits..

Cruiserbob...mine did that last year, I just needed to tighten the bolt on the front bar where the turn signal slides on. Just wasnt gettin' a good ground. Hope its that simple.

I have a 2003 R* with LEDs in all 4 turn signals and the tail/stop light; with the Kury R-T-B unit. The Kury unit failed once and nothing on the rear worked at all. I do not have a load equalizer and everything works fine.
