The srarter works off of the ignition fuse; even though the fuse looks good try another. It may not be "blown"; however, it still may not work. You have the neutral switch, the kickstand switch, the clutch switch, and the kill switch. All four of those switches have to work properly for the start switch to work. And then you have the starter relay!

Yep, watched a guy wall around our bikes at a diner flipping the kill switches just to watch people when they tried to start their bikes.
That guy was looking for trouble! BB

Thanks for all of your suggestions.I either tried them or double checked them. I took the starter relay off and they are testing it at my local dealer.I will keep you posted. Thanks again.

If ignition fuse is good the red/white wire should have power. It goes to the kill switch, decompression solenoid, starter relay and the ignitor module. If the kill switch is on a red/black wire takes power to the igniition coils and a relay unit. The relay unit sends power to the fuel pump and the starter switch. The starter switchh takes power to the ignition module. The ignition module gets info from the neutral switch and if everything is OK it operates the starter and the decompression solenoid. IF EVERYTHING ELSE CHECKS OUT OK THE PROBLEM MAY BE IN THE IGNITION MODULE!
