how to get light bar on all the time?? 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I just bought a new 07 Roadstar Midnight Silverado

I was just out getting ready to fix the headlight rattle, when I thought I might as well do this while I'm at it...

It came with the light bar, and I've searched the site, but haven't been able to find anything about this...

My passing lamps only come on with the bright lights, and I'd like them on all the time. What do I have to do???

Thanks for all the help!!

I know I had a wiring guide, I am trying to find it. Its just a matter of hooking into the power cord wit the fuse on it, it only comes on when the key is turned on, I will keep searching for you.

its the red yellow striped wire according to the instructions for my lightbar I'm trying to install now.

On all the time ---- Red with yellow stripe
On with High beam only ---- Yellow
On with Low beam only ---- Green

To keep the battery drain down you should find a wire that only has power when the motor is running. I can't help with which one though. Mine are on with hi or low but only on after the bike starts. I didn't do anything to it. It came that way.

alright, i just fixed the rattle, or at least I hope I did... I'll wait around a little while and see if anyone has any detailed instructions as I'm pretty well electrically illiterate...

Thanks!!
