I am thinking about doing the opposite of most people out there... I am thinking about taking every chrome part off of my bike and getting them flat black powder coated. Any opinions on how this would look or anyone who you would recommend to do such work?

I'm thinking of having a lot of the chrome painted pearl white myself  You can't powder coat the pipes. You would have to have them ceramic coated. If that's the look you want go for it and don't look back!  |

sos567656765 , A friend of mine has those pipes on his black road stratoliner. They look Great.
My son Blacked in his xs1100, made it look like a "midnight" edition.
It really looks good too.
If you want all black, then go for it.  |

I wish I could pay for both of ours. Sorry not any time soon.
I always wondered why yamaha does not color code the Black Frame to fit the color of each bike. I know it all boils down to $$$, but I think it would really make the bikes look better.

I have seen several "all" flat black bikes. They look good. Not really my style, but I say most people I have talked too like the look of Flat black.

I have the Double Eagles only in chrome...
Be prepared to get pipes that maybe longer than in the pic...as you can see from my sig pic....
You wont be dissappointed...
