What Diameter ape hangers? 4 Months ago
Two questions:
1. does anyone in texas know the law for apehanger height?

2. do I need 1 1/4" bars where the clamps are and 1" for stock controls? what is a good website for 10-12" apes?
Ok that is 3 questions.

I believe the law in Texas, as with most states, state "no higher that shoulder level" But now that I think about it maybe its no more than 15 inches above the seat??? If you go to the AMA website the have a search for tht kind of stuff. If you cant find it let me know. I think I got it bookmarked.
I run 1.25 dia. apes that are 16 inches tall. They should all come tapered to normal diameters where needed so that you can use stock risers and grips.

Looking at the picture of my bike, I must be close to 15" above seat height already. I have 4" yamaha risers. I guess that they mean from low point of the seat to the handgrips.
