How in the heck do you keep the pipes from popping? I saw on another forum, another bike where a guy had made a L bracket to cut down on popping. One side of the bracket is for the screw and the other would be for the insie of the pipe. I wonder if something like this would help. Hope that made sense.

Oops. You are right; that's it. Now I have a new question. Thos pipes look like they still have the baffles in them. All those curves - that's what I pulled out.

It appears to be baffled to me as well....when I get some extra time, I'm gonna try this de-baffled and see what gives.

Somebody figure it out and tell me, please?

Loud pipes save lives! Besides, my 10 year old likes him and he's my riding partner 90% of the time.

If they are backfiring .... look carefully for exhaust leaks.

If they are popping .... usually around 2000 rpm on decel then try turning your PMS out 1/4 turn at a time until it disappear.

You must have removed your AIS or it's no deal .... they pop till the cows come home.

sorry for the delay in answering to are there any holes or perforations in my "mnstr bfls" no there is none. I wanted to make sure I still had some back pressure so I tried these . I sure wasn't going to pay their price to find out though. I just thought you might want to try this and see if it would help. But like Doc said make sure you have no leaks especially at where the pipe meets the head.Oh yeah my AIS is removed also . Mine really talk to me but thats what I like.
