polishing fork covers 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago  
Has anyone had any luck polishing their fork covers or do they just get them chromed.

thought they were chromed, not afraid of work, what did you use. The tubes look like they have a clear coat on the stock tubes

off the topic, but slow with computer skills. I was trying to post regular digital pictures of the bike and can not upload, i think due to size. Any suggestions?

Saw a local with a Star who had polished forks... looks awesom!
Doc, yours look amazing too! Can't wait to do mine. The brushed stainless is such a pain to keep the spots off of...

Looks almost like chrome. Slightly different colour but you have to look hard to tell the difference.

polished mine too!....I bought a baldor buffer...doc's thread is a great suggestion also...but love the look when they are done!
