Platinum Boarder Posts: 2872 Re:picked up my new mustang tour seat today, couple ? 3 Months, 1 Week ago   If you have the solo seat it mounts like the stock seat. The seat is spring loaded. The tab goes on the 8mm bolt that holds the rear of the passenger seat on the fender. the wide touring seat mounts the same way. the knob is the tensioner so when you hit your key to unlock it it will lift up and you can swing it to the side to check your oil and access the other stuff under there.
