picked up my new mustang tour seat today, couple ? 3 Months, 1 Week ago
what is the black knob for between the rear seat mounting brackets? Also there is a tab off the solo seat with what looks like a mount but not sure what it would be used for, any help much appreciated.

If you have the solo seat it mounts like the stock seat. The seat is spring loaded. The tab goes on the 8mm bolt that holds the rear of the passenger seat on the fender. the wide touring seat mounts the same way.
the knob is the tensioner so when you hit your key to unlock it it will lift up and you can swing it to the side to check your oil and access the other stuff under there. A little long winded but you can go to their website and it shows it.
