Because I have not seen one first hand... what is the difference in the way the Tricky mounts that makes the fitting so close to the ground? The barons is also suppose to be down, but I just rotated the shock 180* and put the fitting at the top... are you not able to do that with the Tricky setup?

Stoney:

When mounted, the outlet fitting and adjustment screw mount @ 90-degrees (points directly to the ground).

You could flip it, but wouldn't have much luck adjusting the rebound control without taking the wheel and inner fender off to get to it.

As long as you don't drive it at ground level, it probably wouldn't be an issue. I snapped one off pulling up onto a trailer. But, I just keep a spare in the tool bag, in-case I ever pop one off again.

I'm betting Tricky can hook us up with spares, now that he's "family"...

Thanks Rich, I didnt even think about the rebound control! Now that makes sense... I will find out soon enough... I think I found someone to buy my Barons Air Ride... so as soon as that deal goes through it will be time to get a Tricky Air Ride!!

That's good news Stone! Rich hit the nail on the head, with the issue of accessability of the rebound control valve. Again we could off set one of the ports, but then your looking at another operation in the machining process...
...more time and money.

And , yes, I'll hook the "fam" up with what they need...

...except for Rich, he get's a 200% mark up! j/k
