They say that by installing the oversized (160) tire it will correct the speedo, which some are off by as much as 5-6 mph. (For example; Indicated speed of 70 but actual speed is only 65.) I installed the oversized 160-80 Elite III about two years ago and didn't notice any difference in the speedo (mine is off by about 3-4 mph) or the ride height of the bike. But I do love the way it handles!!! Probably the best tire I've ever run on any bike. Just wish Dunlop made it in a WWW.......
