Paint code on the 04 Midnight Star 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
Does anyone have a oem paint code, or matching color in black.

I have the Midnight Star in Black with a hint of metal flake in the paint job.

The paint guy that will do my tins wants to know so we can match the tank, and front tin?

.

Don't know if this will help or not, but I found this on the Color Rite website for a 2004 Midnight Silverado:

2004 paint code

Stock black is black, no flake at all, so you must have a custom paint.....That may be a tough one...

Okay, I will take that to the local paint supply store that does all the automotive paints, and give that to them and see what they can do. I was trying to get by without a complete paint job on all the tins and the tank.

The last tank we got painted with the ghost flames was $600.00

Thanks a bunch to all you guys

My '07 Midnight has a hint of metal flake in the black paint too, and it is factory paint. Maybe it is a "Midnight" thang..

Maybe mine has a custom paint job, or I polished all the flakes off of it..But I swear it is just plain old black It's an 03..
Mark7 has an 04 midnite, I saw his about a year ago, and I don't think it had any flake in it..
