That would make it easier if I could stay with my stock tube. White walls, vs black wall? I think I would miss the white walls, but I wouldn't miss cleaning them! Most people probably wouldn't even notice if you had a white wall car tire and only on one side. How often do they look at both sides?

dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
