With the saddlebags on I never really noticed how much the rear fender "wagged" till my lower pipe fell off while riding yesterday.

Daaaamn... ...I knew a girl like that once, but I've NEVER heard of it on a bike before...

mine used to wag when i had the idle set real low...much better now, especially when warmed up.

Thanks...those are the Yamaha OEM hard bags for the Road Star. I have them mounted on Ghost brackets so they come off in a few seconds and are lower than on the stock brackets, and added some aftermarket lights to them that act as running & brake lights. For easy disconnect, I cut up an old PC power supply and used some 4-pin molex connectors for the bag light wiring. When bags are off, the connectors tuck up under the seat.

Yeah Greyphart,at first I wasnt real big on the look, but its grown on me. I could always find a used fender or buy a new, then chances are I'm gonna have to paint it you know. More $$, wanted to keep the front stock length to try and keep road grime and water spray to a minimum.
