I'm going as narrow as possible so the seat works in that direction. Actaully when the sissy bar is on it fakes your eye out in to thinking the seat fender isnt quite so big. Plus that seat looks tiny compared to that damn tractor seat it comes with!
Not a lot you can do with a rear fender on a soft tail. I am going to tighten up the tolerances once I get everything else in place. When I'm sitting on it with the sissy bar on it for sure looks better. I have a killer idea for a sissy bar but may not get it done before riding season. Unlike some of you in the icebox the rain is going to stop pretty soon here and I gotta have this thing done.

It sure isnt a more normal look for one of our Roadies but I like the old school stuff so there ya are. the difficulty with our ride is the frame. Besides its diameter it also makes some weird bends that you just arent aware of until you start something like this.
The twist is I am throwing small new school stuff at it too yet kind of hidden....like the Motosign and MotoMini or like what I am working on for the ignition, more on that later..... Did something kind of cool (IMHO) with the drive pulley, just a visual cue but different I think.
