If you think the color will work for you then use it. I will say that prep is critical even with a rattle can maybe more so. Use the wax remover, wet sand, and fill rock chips etc. with glazing compound. Most important be patient, more thin caots will turn out better than one or two thick coats. I usually get in a hurry and mess up at least once. Good luck.
