Harley triple tree problem 1 Year, 2 Months ago  
Looking to put a custom 1" triple tree on my 99 b ought new races and bearings to fit the 1" stem but after pulling my races out i found that on the bottom of the neck there is almost 5mm of neck before the race any ideas or has anyone found a way around taking the motor out and machining it down any help would be great snow is starting to melt here in alberta

Okay did some math this should work but now the task of removing the motor the manual says i need to strip the engine all the way down anyone know a good way of removing the motor and when its opened up any advice on things i can change or look out for it only has 10000 kms on it thanks again guys

Little bit confused, what does the triple tree have to do with removing the motor?

Don Gray Customs sells a stem to adapt an American suspension front end on a roadstar. You might contact him for some advice.
