Don't know. Never rode mine before I painted. It looked pretty good quality tho, I doubt you will have problems with it. When I was wet sanding it, it was pretty thick, I never once went all the way thru it to the fiberglass.

The one for my Roadstar was just primered fiberglass (2 years ago), I just ordered another for a Road King and it looks like all they offer now is gel-coat and the style has changed some on the inner.

BTW I found a coupon code browsing the internet and it worked. kawa2012 saved me $52.50 off the price of an unpainted fairing without stereo. It is 15% so even more if it is painted and/or has a stereo, but looks like it has to be done online as I called in and they told me there was no discounts this year.

I have the Kuryakyn Sound of Chrome speakers mounted on my bars. For me, right now, I love them because I can switch between my MS Batwing or NC Switchblade shield in a matter of a few seconds. Still have tunes with either setup.

Just my opinion. To quote a very wise man..."Take what you want, toss the rest".

And no issue hearing tunes at freeway speeds.

me either... I have Road Rumblers with a 8 GB MP3 player with FM Radio...

behind a memphis shade fairing...
