Front fender replacement 1 Year ago
So, I was wondering if anyone has attempted to fit an FLHT front fender (like here: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/534-765#) or happen to know if anyone makes them to fit an R*? I really like the look of that fender style, but I haven't found one that will fit, so I'm wondering if they are easy enough to modify if I went with the one I linked to. (Not that I would necessarily get it from J&P Cycles. They are awesome, but not as awesome as ebay.)

Mine came off a 2010 Roadking. Simple enough to do. Just cut off the original mounting tabs then drill your own hole in the fender and a few spacers and you got it. I love the look.

Re:Front fender replacement 1 Year ago
i cut the mounts off the hd fender & welded it to the top of my factory fender (4 small beads) friends have said it's jimmy rigging. my response it this.quiet a few distributors sell fiber glass fenders than must be epoxied to the existing fender ,usually to extend the rear fender or a filler for a bagger. i basically did the same thing except to the front and it cost me less than $100 for fender, trim, and light.

I used a fender from tjd customs, fits nicely, you only have to drill the holes yourself, and it is for 16 till 21 Inch.
