I was going to replace both. But need to pick some replacements. Let me give this some thought as to fair price. I was planning to probably put on a set of CCSaddlebags (they have some Huge bags and for me its function over form). Give me a day to figure out if I am ready to go forward. If I am, will make you the right deal on both bags and brackets.
You might want to see if the brackets for the 08 midnight Strat are the same as the ones for the deluxe bags in case you want to get them down the road.
BTW, was changing these out because I can't get enough stuff in the bags when I travel on business. I have to tote a computer and its accessories and always end up using my T-Bag. I had a set of CCSaddlebag "Hurricane" bags on my Road Star and never ran out of room. They don't look as nice as the liner bags do, but I am also changing my rear turn sigs out and the new ones sigs will get in the way of the bag lids.

Yea. Thats what I was thinking. I did some research and found the leather wraped stratoliner bags are 2800ci capacity and the painted ”deluxe” bags are 3800ci capacity and if you want big bags the Corbin beetle bags claim to be 45qrt capacity each and both the royal star and ”deluxe” bags are 26qrts each. Food for thaught..

The Corbins are hands down the largest I can find. But I hate the price tag. Love the look though, at least if I could get them to make them without the chrome strips. The bags I talked about are huge, but I am not sure what their ci is.

The problem is that the bag tapers, so you can't just use the measurements. Guys I know that have the corbins tell me they can put gallon paint containers into them. I could never have done that with the hurricanes.
But the hurricanes are big enough for me.
