ED passenger seat 10 Months, 1 Week ago
Just got the ED passenger seat for my wife. Installed it yesterday and went for a ride for her to try it out. As soon as we got back she said "we're keeping it!"

I have the Yamaha tall backrest, and the wife was complaining that the backpad was too far back & she felt like she was falling off the back of the seat to touch the rest. With the ED passenger seat, that problem is gone. She also asked me to post that with the ED seat, bumps in the road don't bother her as much.

As far as the look goes, I now see that my plain stock seat looks a little boring next to the ED passenger seat. As I think about possibly upgrading my seat in the future I was wordering if anyone has any suggestion as to which ED seat might be best for me. I'm 5'-9", 30" inseam, about 185 lbs.

Re-did my stock seat today (dished out 2 sides and added some memory foam). Have to test it out and go from there.

Very glad to here it. George and I were just sitting in the Dallas airport reading your comments, waiting to board the plane for Stardays in Reno Nevada. We are Very happy your wife is finally comfortable. Now she can experience comfort on a whole new level, just think of the places you can travel now.

We would like you to have this same experience, which is why would recommend a seat for you.

As far as what seat you should go with, we would highly recommend the E.D. standard size.

You are about the same weight as myself, but 2 inch shorter inseam. The Standard will plant you in the seat further down to the ground and will offer great all day comfort. You will wonder why you waited so long.

Look forward to hearing from you soon, and thanks again for your support and business.

If it does not work out for you, you know what to do.

I've been looking to replace my stock driver seat and it appears many folks on RSC are very impressed with the ED seats... Is there a better model seat and/or a better place to pick them up other than looking on eBay?

Thanks..

My Wife loves Her ED seat. I have the wrap around trunk for her. I have the ED Big Tourer for me. But I'm 6'1". Chief and George won't steer you wrong. You'll love your standard ED.
