Junior Boarder Posts: 185 Stebel Horn install question 6 Months, 4 Weeks ago   Ok, to those who have installed the Stebel horn....I know there is a fuse I need to change out to a higher amperage. I believe its the signaling system fuse. Can someone tell me where that fuse is, and what the original amperage on it is? Expert Boarder Posts: 450 Re:Stebel Horn install question 6 Months, 4 Weeks ago   Your horn should come with everything needed... which includes an in-line 20 amp fuse and relay... the relay is important... it needs to be in the system. I just remembered hearing someone talk about how they had to change a fuse because they blew out their speedo once they hit the horn button. But if its already included which it sounds like, I should be ok. I hooked up the air horn to my front horn wire (and disconnected the rear horn and taped that end), hit the button, blew the fuse and bumped it up 5 amps. Never had another problem. Sorry, but I don't recall off hand which fuse it was or the amps (a 5 to a 10, a 10 to a 15 amp etc.) Just hook'er up and hit the button for a few seconds. I said when I bought my bike that this would be the second upgrade I did (after the triple whammy always-on light kit).
