Rear fender interchange 6 Months ago
Will a '03 Roadstar rear fender bolt up to an '01 Roadstar without mods? Thanks.

Thanks, mine had the notorious crack before, then a loose nut behind the wheel behind me at a stop light tagged me. All I could find in the aftermarket were fenders that in no way look like the OEM piece. Do you know of any outlets besides Yamaha that sell a match to the OEM fender?

In addition to Ebay (great source) there a lot of shops that do mild customization on Road Stars (like selling replacement rear fenders). If they also install, they are bound to have some pull off parts in their shops.

You just have to see if you can find someone willing to walk out, take a look and see if they have any since they aren't really in the business of reselling them. You might want to call the folks at nopork.com and maybe even the folks at Baron's. If you want to make it real easy for them, tell them you don't care about the paint quality, just need an undented part that you can repaint.
