I DID THE SAME THING. MADE A PATCH FROM A STRIP OF METAL. ROADY CLUTCH PERCHES ARE HARD TO FIND, CHECK EBAY SAW ONE SHORT WHILE BACK. BUT I HEADED OFF DOING IT AGAIN BY PUTTING ON A HONDA VTX PERCH.

Just curious...how'd they break? Tip over? or a defect I should watch for?

Where did you purchase the VTX clutch perch? Doing a google search I can only find a chrome perch cover and not the whole assembly.

SORRY FOR THE DELAY ON ANSWERSING. I BROKE MINE BECAUSE I RAN THE WIRES THROUGH THE BARS AND FORGOT TO PUT THE PERCH ON FIRST. TRIED TO OPEN IT ENOUGH TO SLIDE OVER THE WIRES AND SHE WENT. ALSO I GOT THE HONDA PERCH FROM EBAY. YOU NEED THE ONE THAT HAS THE CLUTCH SENSOR. I JUST TOOK THE PLUG APART AND PUSHED THE CRIMPS ONTO THE HONDA SENSOR. IT METERED OUT VERY CLOSE AND I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH IT.
