Anyone using the Kuryakin extensions to get the passenger boards lower? I have the ISO boards for the passenger and my wife could use them a little lower to take some pressure off that hiney. I have V&H Longshots - I think it would take a good 4" to get the bracket out far enough so you could get the board lower.

Thoughts?

Have you tried turning the brackets upside down. Not sure but some others have done that in the past. Maybe someone who knows for sure will jump in.

Here's a cut-paste job from something I posted awhile back. The rear floorboards are flippable and swappable meaning they can be taken off and moved around to give your four possibilities. Depending on your exhaust, some may or may not fit right. Once you take one off you'll be able to tell which positions will fit OK.

I think you can go 4 ways with the passenger floorboards. I'm not sure now which way is stock as I flipped mine awhile back. When you change the positioning to down however, you'll need to swap boards from left to right or the boards will be upside down. There's a small c-clamp holding the board to the bracket. Just pop that off and pull out the pin holding the board to the bracket. Be careful about the small spring which you'll see when you carefully pull the pin out. It's not a big deal where it's going to go flying off....just be prepared to hold onto it. Reinstall everything on the opposite sides and you should be good to go.

I saw a write-up on this somewhere, but just checked the tech tips and didn't see anything there. Must have found it elsewhere.

Thanks for link, I had problem finding that again also. I swapped my left and right pass floorboards as the lady is tall and she needed the extra room, (Moves them Fwd quite a bit) Now getting them lower might be a good idea also. MC
