Unflipped 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Found out today that I'm too heavy for this bike. Had my 140 lb son on it to go to lunch and we bottomed out- to the frame- three times. So after unflipping and turning yet more preload on the shock we only bounced off the bump stop a couple of times. Still not real happy. Anyone in the 250lb range with a 200lb passenger have a set up that performs well? Aside from putting the old lady on a treadmill

You might consider swapping out your 750 lb spring for a 1000 lb, N0THD.

no question a heavier spring, but maybe some one with an air suspension or some thing...

Probably the progressive spring will help. Went to Sturgis last year, total of 3500 miles. Me, the wife and gear on the back higher that her head. Bike grossed out about 1200 pounds and no bottoming. Did adjust the preload to almost 2 inches which is near the max, but no bumping. I have bumped it on large pot hole or un-noticed speed bump.

I've thought about getting a heavier spring also, I'm 190 but the wife is around 220, She saw the price and wants to do the treadmill thing first But i'll wait awhile, found out today I can get a Champion trike kit for the Roady for $6,700 all parts, I will just have to paint and add wheels and tires. Gonna try to make this my winter project if the finances will allow. Then the wifey will be happy with a real tricycle instead of the training wheel on her Suki.
