Lowers with quick release windshield?? 1 Month ago
Has anyone come up with a clean way to mount lowers with the Silverado windshield quick release brackets? I like the idea of the quick release windshield for cleaning up the bike but my lowers are mounted to the Standard OEM windshield brackets.

Making something with Adel clamps that holds the fork covers is the only idea I have come up with. Love the QD shield. It’s made to work with the billet signal bar, but I never seen a solution for losers with it.

I guess the loser will need to keep looking for solutions...

That's okay, I met JD a couple times in person at Eureka Springs M&G's. He is entitled to his honest opinion of me.

I'm using a Harley deflector part#28-111. Use the top hole and drill a hole for the bottom bolt on your QR brackets. The hole you have to drill is in a weak area and I was replacing them every 30000 miles or so. The other pr0blem was they would vibrate once in a while. I supported them along the bolt line with some 3/4" aluminum angle stock. Others have used them and they work very well to deflect the wind. They really make a difference .
