Do you have the engine guards?
If so they bolt on the front floor board bolt and clamp to the frame up top.

The bars just jam up against the top of the frame. Sometimes there are bolts on the bar(as with my Barons), and sometimes not. Here's a photo of where my bar attaches to the frame. If you look closely you can see that the top of the bar has a V notch where it slides on the bottom of the frame.

Not sure if this applies to the bar you're looking at, but hope this helps anyway.

If it is the Cobra Fatty bars then they have a set of clamps that attach the top to the frame upright tubes. Do not over tighten these as the bolts a a tad soft and will round out easily. I swear by these bars now as they saved my bike and my leg in a crash. Had the insurance company put exactly the same new ones back on.

Well thats pretty much what I had figured, My suzi is bolted at top and I love the pegs on there. I wondered what they did with the top. The bars that u are using MARK7 do they flex when you stretch against them, Is it a solid fit? I recon the clamped ones at the top would be.
Thanks for all the quick responses.
